The percussion gives this a lovely momentum. I’d like to include it in the next playlist update.

I like the atmosphere, but the tempo is a little too high for this playlist’s quieter direction.

Sent shouldn’t mean “now what?”
Keep your replies, feedback and placement updates together. You can see who has responded and which accepted tracks have actually reached a playlist.
21 days, at least.
Verified placements carry a 21-day minimum under our terms. A curator may plan longer; that extra time is an estimate.
A campaign on your terms
Your release. Your budget.
Buy Drops, our in-app credits, and use them to send your track to the curators you choose. Each curator’s submission price is shown before you send.
Start at your own pace.
Choose a Drops pack or a custom top-up. See the final price and any applied discount at checkout.
Pay for consideration and feedback.
A curator decides whether your track fits. Paying for a submission does not guarantee acceptance, streams or audience growth.
No reply by the deadline? Drops back.
The response window is 72 hours, starting on return for curators on vacation. If a curator misses that deadline, the submission’s Drops return to your wallet for another opportunity.
The other side of the record
Good taste deserves a good return.
You put time into your playlists. Make that listening time count.
Discover independent releases, give useful feedback and earn Drops for your work. You choose your preferred genres, AI level and when to take a break.
One inbox for submissions and placement follow-ups.
Withdraw available earnings through the supported payout provider at launch.
Reinvest in an artist’s next campaign, with a 20% bonus on the converted artist credits.
Curator registration is not open yet. Playlist approval and verification will apply.
An artist account, a released track available on Spotify and enough Drops for your chosen curators. Add your track, write a pitch and review your selection and total before sending.
How do I find curators who fit my music?
Explore by genre and check each curator’s profile and playlists before adding them to your campaign. Their submission price and AI preferences help you decide whether they are a fit. Choose the people whose taste makes sense for your release.
Am I paying to get on a playlist?
You are paying for consideration and feedback. A curator can decline if your track is not a fit, and a rejection with valid feedback is still paid work. Acceptance is their editorial decision; submissions do not guarantee playlist placement, streams or audience growth.
What happens if a curator does not reply?
Curators normally have 72 hours to respond. If you send to a curator marked “On vacation”, that window starts when they return. There is no scheduled return date or automatic waiting limit, and your Drops remain held while you wait. Once a response deadline expires without a reply, the submission’s Drops return to your wallet.
My track was accepted. Is it already in the playlist?
Acceptance means the curator has chosen your track. Your campaign shows it as awaiting placement until SMM finds it in the playlist. The curator’s earnings for that submission stay held until this first placement is verified.
How long will my track stay on a playlist?
The terms require at least 21 verified days. A curator may indicate a longer planned duration, but that extra time is an estimate: they may remove the track after the minimum. You can follow placement updates in your campaign.
What if an accepted track is never placed?
Its Drops remain held while placement is pending. If the curator is suspended for failing to place it, the held Drops are returned to your wallet. Contact support if you need help with a particular submission.
Can I submit music made with AI?
Declare no AI, partial AI or full AI when setting up your track. Curator preferences help filter your search by default. You can broaden or clear those filters and submit outside a curator’s preferences; acceptance remains their editorial decision.
How do Drops, packs and coupons work?
Drops are the credits used to pay for submissions. You can buy a pack or choose a custom top-up. A valid coupon replaces the pack discount, even if it is smaller; discounts do not combine. Review the final price before paying, or remove the coupon to restore the pack price.
For curators
Your playlists, your time, your earnings.
How do I get started as a curator?
Create a curator account using the Spotify user profile that owns your playlists. Complete your profile and add your playlists. Playlist approval and ownership verification apply before you can fully operate as a curator.
Can I choose what kind of music I receive?
Set your preferred genres and maximum AI level. Artists see these preferences and can use them to find a match, but may also submit outside them. You retain your editorial judgment.
Do I have to accept every track?
No. Keep your editorial judgment. If a song is not right for your playlists, decline it with useful feedback that meets the submission requirements. A qualifying rejection earns Drops when you respond.
How much time do I have to respond?
You normally have 72 hours from delivery. Tracks received during vacation mode have no response deadline until you end it; pending tracks then get 72 hours. Existing deadlines never pause or restart. You can reply while on vacation. Missing a started deadline returns the submission’s Drops to the artist.
When do my earnings become available?
A rejection with valid feedback pays when you respond. For an acceptance, earnings stay held until the first Spotify placement is verified. Your wallet separates pending-placement Drops from the balance available to withdraw or reinvest.
What am I committing to when I accept a track?
Add it to your selected playlist within 7 days of accepting, including while on vacation, and maintain at least 21 verified days of placement. A longer planned duration is an estimate, not an additional guaranteed minimum. Vacation mode does not pause placement checks or commitments. Failing to meet these commitments can restrict or suspend your account.
How do I withdraw my earnings?
Withdrawals are not available during prelaunch. At launch, eligible curators will be able to request payment of available earnings through the supported provider, subject to verification and the displayed limits. Earnings held for pending placement cannot be withdrawn.
How does the 20% reinvestment bonus work?
Reinvest available earnings into any active, email-verified artist account. SMM converts their cash-out value into artist Drops at the base purchase rate, then adds a 20% bonus on those converted credits. Both amounts round down. Currently, 100 curator Drops become 50 artist Drops plus 10 bonus Drops. You see the exact breakdown before confirming.
How does vacation mode work?
Turn vacation mode on or off in your curator profile whenever you need to. Artists can still send you tracks after seeing the vacation notice. New submissions wait without a deadline until you return, with Drops held and no automatic waiting limit. Ending vacation starts 72 hours for those still pending. Starting it again does not extend any deadline already assigned. You can accept, decline or return tracks while away; accepting immediately starts the 7-day placement deadline. Account restrictions still apply.
